...and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. Here I sit, reflecting on the past year and how much our lives have changed. I miss going out to eat at my favorite restaurants, getting together with friends and just feeling safe to go shopping. Every year as a family, we plan an outing with our three kids and sometimes their significant others. We've been to plays, comedy shows, circ de soleil, an escape room and even San Francisco Underground. Sadly, this year we don't have an outing planned due to Covid.
These are the little things that I miss that create such wonderful memories.
I've decided that 2021 is the year that I'm really going to put my work out there by entering pottery competitions, contacting some galleries and a few local shops to see if they will carry my pots. I am hoping with the vaccine, our street art fairs will be back and I plan on signing up for a few of those along with possibly selling at our local farmers market. It's a big world of potters out there and getting out of my comfort zone is the only way that my pots are going to be seen. So now that I have put this in writing for you all to see, I've gotta do it right? Right!
